Our practice is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). We belong to a small group (less than 15%) of clinics that voluntarily meet or exceed the association's standards - the highest standards available for small animal veterinary practices. We are regularly evaluated on more than 900 standards to ensure continued compliance.
Welcome to our new Associate!
We are pleased to welcome our new Associate, Dr. Preeya Patel! We are excited to have her join our team! Dr. Preeya Patel received her D.V.M. from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation, she completed an one-year internship in small animal medicine and critical care at Iowa State University. She also took an advanced training course in elective surgeries in North Carolina. Dr. Preeya started working at Minnetonka Animal Hospital as an assistant in 2005. She has volunteered with local rescues organizations for over 10 years. She has several pocket pets as well as a bird. She grew up in Minnetonka and has always wanted to be a veterinarian.
New Construction
We are excited with the progress of our new clinic. The new building will be facing Minnetonka Boulevard and is currently being renovated. After that section is complete, we will move our facility, while the current building is picked up, turned 90 degrees, and connected to the other section.

Prescriptions
Fill Them Today
When submitting an online request to refill a prescription, please allow us 48 hours to prepare your pet's medication. If you are in need of an urgent refill, please call us directly at 952-473-1239, and we will complete the request as quickly as possible.
Some refills require bloodwork and / or a recheck in order to get them refilled. Herbs often require a special order. We will phone you when your prescription is ready, or to let you know when we expect special orders will arrive.
